    To hike
The tower is about 16 miles west of Hill City. To get there take Deerfield Road about 13 miles and turn north on S Rochford Rd. Go west on Flag Mountain Rd and stay on the road for about 2 miles. (Do not take the Flag Mountain Lookout Road - that does not take you to the top). After 2 miles turn north on road 2 F East. The road is a small one way bumpy road to a top and is about a mile until you reach your destination.
