 Three buildings and the foundation of the former guard house remain from an area remote from the Homestake Mine to store dynamite. Built in 1919 the buildings known as magazines were built in this remote area so as not to endanger the local population in case of an accident. This is BLM land but housing is encroaching endangering access. Check out the Triplog.
