6th-grade Camp Goddard may have been the best experience of my life. In the 8th grade, I got a shirt stating I'd canoed the Illinois. Perhaps a few miles, loved the experience nonetheless. The Arizona National Scenic Trail was made possible by the great members of HAZ. Albeit semi-conscious, Isis Temple is hands down the most gratifying memory.

3 books that have made a difference in my life
• Where The Red Fern Grows
• The Great Brain at the academy
• Grand Obsession: Harvey Butchart and the Exploration of Grand Canyon
...the only books I've read

May 2017 Needed another non obstructive hike so I picked Mazzie Loop and added Bear Spring to put a little meat on the bone. Up Y Bar and down Barnhardt. I think whichever you go down you will like least. That said, down Barnhardt is the wise choice.
