It was in my head as a "wouldn't it be perfect" to get this abandoned building with a through the window shot.
I drove around in two different directions for 1.5hrs and then headed here even though there were no flashes seen out that way on the entire drive from the Carefree Hwy to Estrella Mountain.
As soon as I got to the location, a cloud formed above and flickered. I pulled into the field, lined up the building and used the Xterra as a rain shield. I was so sure of what was going to happen next that I rotated the camera portrait. I opened the shutter and boom, this is what I got with the bolt visible through the door and through the next window.
