June 2009 We decided to hike the entire Butterfly Trail from top (Milepost 23) to bottom (Palisades visitor center). Doesn't Butterfly Trail sound like such a light and airy hike...NOT! Serious hike up and down 1800 feet in 5.7 miles...a really good workout. G...
