Pinery Canyon road is graded dirt, and has some nice dispersed camping about 4-5 miles in.

I believe this is referring to a (small) wheeled trailer you could put a shot deer onto, or elk, etc. I'm guessing you'd hook that trailer to a mountain bike rather than an ATV in a wilderness area? My favorite time for Aravaipa is after Thanksgiving, to catch all the fall colors. I led a group in from the east end on December 1 2023. The water is not as cold as you might think, but I do wear neoprene socks. Morning temps were about 34-36 degrees.

Good campsites from the east end are at Hell Hole Canyon (either side of Deer Creek 2.mi) or at Horse Camp Canyon (5.5 mi). Set up base camp & explore!
