Re: Mother Lode Dos Veces

Hey Joe,

Sorry I missed this one; however, swine flu seems to have taken over my life temporarily.

Looks like a great mid-week hike.

Re: Mazatzal Peak Summit

Wifes new sedan ain't makin' that trip... ~Are you planning on doing the 15 mile 10 hour loop coarse...

Re: gilbert hikers?

no doubt. hopefully Phx city & zoning officials figure out what the big Eastern metro areas did 30 years ago. suburban sprawl (white flight), is not good in the long run, for all kinds of reasons: pollution and separation of families/cultures etc... most of Europe has us beat on that front, espe...

Re: gilbert hikers?

Re: gilbert hikers?

some friends of ours just did that hike but they stayed the night @ the P.R. cabins, then back up B.A. the next morning.
another good East Valley trail run in cooler months: Usery Regional Park; Pass Mtn Loop (7.2 miles).

Re: gilbert hikers?

In response to oceanwithin: 10-4, will do Kelli. are you thinking a rim to rim trail run...? been wanting to attempt since i used long trail runs to mix-up and cross-train for my last two full marathons. keep in mind the back side of the Superstition (1st water to Black Mesa & a few others) has...

Re: gilbert hikers?

Kelli, Let me know if you'd like to do a good trail run or hike with a group sometime. Been marathoning the last 4 years and love to mix things up with trail runs. Obviously, local valley hikes/trail runs will be better post Sept as the mornings cool down etc... Love summer overnights up on the rim ...
