Nice idea. Anyone know a tribal member? I heard they do not even let there own members up. Do they have tribal police looking for hikers?

Thanks John. Quartz Peak is a great hike one of my favorites. Just wish that Estailia Peak would open up as it sure looks like a really good one also in the traildex.

Has anyone hiked Estrella Peak this season? I would sure like to do it as I see it almost every day. Any info would be appriciated.

Thanks for the info. Abbey what is Beta? I have done McDowell Mt, it was great and look forward to the rest of them. We did Brown's peak and got to the top but almost quite do to the steep trail. I will get to the White Tanks soon. I knew Tom's thumb was there but not Oger's Den. Will check that out...

I just found the answer that the goat trail takes you to the summit. I am still learning how to get all the great info on this site.

I was wondering if any of the trails listed under White Tank Mountains go to the summit? I could not tell from the discriptions. Might try with a friend to hike there. It is between those and Browns Peak which is my first choice.

I was wondering if there is a hike down to the river and back that is can be done in one day. I have never hiked in the canyon so any info on permits and other requirements would be appreciated

If you are still layed off I could hike with you. The ridge line hike would be great for me and I am able to go during the week. If you have any other day hike that would be great. If you need a ride I can do that.

I discovered this site and the great reviews of this hike near Quartz Peak. I have done Quartz Peak 4 times and really think it is a great hike. Would anyone like to do Estaillia Peak?
