I have 2extra permits for Paria canyon next week Oct30th-Nov2nd.This is a 4days/3nights-37miles trail,hiking in the streambed most of the time

I am doing a backpack loop on the North rim-indian hollow-jump up-kanab-tapeats-thunder river-indian hollow.About 60-65miles,depending on side trips.Oct15-20.Let me know if you're interested

Thank you all for all the great hints,routes and advice.Looks like November might be the best month to go with the leaves turning.Also Pueblo canyon might be a better choice than Cold springs,but i imagine will be a shredding fest either way

That's the destination,was really hoping to get back to the rim trail by foot instead of doing some ungodly car shuttle down cherry rd

Any idea if theres a way to access Devil's chasm from the rim trail above Cherry creek?

Any of you have done Walnut canyon in its whole lenght?Is there a trail?A lot of water?Hope to do it on Sunday if anybody else is interested
