I saw in today's Arizona Republic in the career builder section an ad for software engineers for Garmin International.
The first line says "Develop embedded software in C/C++, for Garmins Auto OEM products."
I thought it fit right in with this thread.

Just heard a report that the second person of intrest in the shooting was a cab driver, he had nothing to do with it.
The shooter took a cab 1 or 2 miles to do this from his parents house. He is only around 22 years old, defintely not a hiker.

Rlrjamy and Vaporman so sorry about the lost gps units out there. I have a Garmin etrex Venture you can borrow to take with you on your next trips. It isnt the best unit but should be adequate. Lost Dutchman State Park (LDSP) to Siphon Draw is interesting, go as far up Siphon Draw as you feel comfortable and turn around. It has some long open stretches that might bore a 5yo. This is a great idea, part way up Siphon Draw, there is a turn off to the old Palmer mine site near a old foundatio...

I want to help out Friday Bob, I know that I can not keep up with you any where you are going, but I can carry water, food, trash or whatever from the trail head in a few miles or whatever is needed.(a secondary base ?) I am getting my back up to do any service calls for me tomorrow.

I like Pass Mountain trail about a 8 mile loop. It is not a hard hike and has neat views, not sure about wildlife photography.
