Okay figured out how to load gpx haz maps into pn-60. Open delorme topo software on computer, click on draw, click on file and navigate to correct file and that will load into software then when sync goes to device.

Thanks Joe will give it a try. So far though really like it the topo software it comes with is very detailed and the transfer of it to the device is simple, I just want to be able to transfer haz routes as well :) We got this one at Bass Pro and went with it because of features and included maps. I tried the etrex legend and didn't like it too hard to use and see screen for me now have the delorme pn-60 and so far love it. I'd suggest the pn-60 with spot.

Well returned the etrex and went with the pn-60 no spot (have spot second gen). So far really like it but still trying to figure out how I get an haz gpx route into the device.

I've done Pass Mountain and really pretty with nice trails although alot of foot traffic on weekend. Have also done Goldfield mt and Lost Dutchmans park all very nice. Day Hike Suggestions from Mesa
I'm new to hiking and have just stated exploring on day hikes. Wanted to see if anyone had suggestions for day hikes from the Mesa area or beeline. I'm looking for loop trails 5-10 miles and in an area with lots of nature/wildlife for photography. Any suggestions appreciated - thanks!

So had to add my email address for sharing in setting then click share. The file was emailed in gpx format to me and I uploaded to hike az - easy actually and fun stuff.
