Thanks Rob. That stream report site is excellent. I expect to refer to it quite a bit. Thanks Chumley. Those two sites go some ways to answering the question and give me a contact to get the rest. Apparently the answer is we aren't excluded and we need permits or 'special permits' to do waht we want...

Great online map source

Poking around, looking for topo maps, National Forest maps, trail maps online... came across this one. Does like Google maps with the satellite and terrain view, but you can toggle to a topo map for additional detail. Hooker Hot Springs

Anyone been to Hooker Hot Springs and can say what its like? The springs, the environment? Is it natural or commercial? Crowded?

The location is +/- 40 miles west of Wilcox, 10 miles south of the Galiuro Wilderness on FS691.
