Karl (BiFrost) and I are doing 1,2 & 3 from April 18-20th. We plan on doing a section a day and car camping. Not sure if that intrigues you at all....

An overnighter won't work for us this weekend. Our fur kids need a sitter. ;) We will just be day hiking to the apples. Hopefully our paths will at least cross somewhere!

It told me I was either from Rochester or Buffalo, NY. Pretty close, I am from Syracuse but I went to college in Buffalo. I guess calling the bugs under rocks a Potato Bug gave me away! Pretty neat!

Dixie Peak showed up around late May. I was told there was a name contest to come up with Dixie Peak. This year's Seven Summit Challenge listed "Dixie Peak" instead of "Peak 2429."

Sure thing you can have one of the spots! I hope you don't object to stopping in Rock Springs for pie on the way home...

I must admit I am a bit intimidated. I want to make sure I can keep up. The training is on, so I can do that event in the Pinal's! :wlift:

Karl and I are looking for a casual hike hoping to catch the fall colors and some good pics. :FG:

The final road into the trailhead was pretty beat up last year, so a high clearance vehicle would be required for the last section. We have room for two people in our car.
