I usually hike with friends but I have hiked alone but it has only been on trails that are being used by others. I have not hiked alone in isolated areas. but when i do i will make sure family and friends know where i went.

Please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences to both your wife and you. My prayers are with you both during this difficult time.

Count me in, I need a refresher course on reading topographical maps... So Matt when are you doing this class? And did i get it right, refreshments at Sheri's afterwards...LOLOLOL

I just wanted to say how nice it was to meet everyone at 4 peaks on tuesday and that I enjoyed myself very much and I look forward to hiking with some or all of you from time to time...
