I found several hiking, backpacking and camping courses at GCC for anyone who is looking for a community college course. They are short classes, almost like workshops.

I'm sure some of the other community colleges have similar courses.

When I was seven, I caught about fifty at Christopher Creek and my dad cooked them for dinner. Not bad!

Though they are a lot of work to eat, I still enjoy catching them. I find it more entertaining than fishing.

I like being able to spout off in whatever direction I see fit at the time I guess I didn't think of it that way. In CIS, I have not had the opportunity to write many papers, so the most interesting ones were research papers for english where I could select a non-computer related topic. Don't get m...

I love writing research papers too! As long as it's a topic I enjoy. (So far in college, I haven't had a topic I didn't enjoy)

parents should be responsible for paying all my tuition, books, living expenses etc... I dealt with the same issue when I first applied to ASU at age 18. Become a professor, in many cases they are basically professional students teaching what they are researching. This is something I plan on doing later in life. My plan is 20's = corporate world & get BS; 30's = start small business & get masters and more; 40's = teach and write at least one...

Re: Back in school.

I understand how you feel about being away from your children. My little boy (just under 4 at the time) went on vacation with his father last summer for two weeks and by the second week it was almost unbearable! (of course it doesn't help that I am not completely ok with my ex husband's caretaking s...

Roommate!!

Just wondering if anyone is or knows someone who is looking for a roommate. The roommate I had lined up (we were supposed to move this Friday) canceled on me at the last minute (this morning) so I'm in a bit of a situation. I have already posted on a roommate website but I thought I'd ask here...

OK - I tried playing the castle game but I'm not getting anywhere. Do you just keep putting the little people into the castle? I don't see a red flag either.
