I've been looking at the Kelly Tank area. It does seem strange to get separated around there, but it's a very unusual landscape with canyons in every direction. Seems like it would be easy to get disoriented.

That's really sad. Hopefully he turns up. Was the plan to hike down to the river and back up to the plateau?
