Im hiking the azt nobo and am in tusayan now. Near the snow bowl several days ago there was snow on the trail for several miles. It slowed my pace but i did not have or need crampons etc. I was glad i had trekking poles.

Jacob Lake Inn, which has been the primary AZT resupply point north of the Grand Canyon, is no longer accepting mail drops - I called and was politely told they won't even hold packages for a fee. I plan to start hiking the AZT northbound starting in early or mid-March 2017 and need a ride from Tucson to the southern terminus at Coronado National Memorial. Are there any trail angels offering rides or any other hikers starting then who are looking to share the expense? My schedule is flexible.
