@DixieFlyer The fire smell was really strong on the 87 heading to payson yesterday morning. Tons of smoke too

@AZClaimjumper I put some clothes into the bottom of my sleeping bag around my feet (and double on socks). Works like a charm!

@Ashleyannmarie Same with fiery furnace in Utah. Permit required visible on your backpack and you had to watch a video on LNT to even get your permit! Zero trash or overcrowding there.

@rustyshackleford135 Both are pretty but the good campsite is downstream (to the right after you reach the bottom). @rustyshackleford135 I’d choose point trail but maybe you can carry the majority of the stuff if she hasn’t backpacked before. It’s super steep in/out of the canyon, but it is pretty down there.
