Any route recommendations for a good 2 day trip?

Which Sycamore Canyon are you talking about? There are at least three that I know of, and probably more. Do you mean the one near Nogales, or the one near Sedona?

If you are talking about the Sycamore Canyon between Jerome and Williams the main trail is very crowded....and also.....there are a GAZILLION GNATS.....upper end by Williams (Sycamore Falls) is less buggy.....but no trail down into the canyon that I know of....I camp on the rim by Whitehorse lake all the time.
