Cathedral rope

FYI, just found out from a friend that the rope near the summit of Cathedral is bad (sheath wore completely thru) and needs to be replaced.  

Please pass this info along to anyone you know that might go there this year.

FWIW, I was just up there yesterday and both the rope to the inner sanctum and the rope to the summit appear to be in usable condition with adequate anchors. I didn't use either rope but inspected them during my free ascents so that I felt comfortable having my hiking partner use them (I'm the stronger climber).

@Pivo Nope. I’ve somehow never seen them in the Catalinas. The closest to Tucson I’ve seen them is in the Silverbells.
