I hiked it August 6th and everything is fine in the Boynton Canyon area. Here is my triplog. http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=15&EXT=T

No evidence of the fire from the Boynton Canyon area.

Anybody can make a hike harder. The real skill comes in making the hike easier.
