Just came across this this morning. Figured I'd pass it on in case anyone was thinking about going to this area.. Nothing worse then getting all excited for a hike and hitting a locked gate. Sad when people trash an area so bad that it has to come to this...

hmmm...[Payson Ranger Larry Vogel] said people can still get to the pools if they park along the road and circumvent the private lands. Asked about the notice warning of vehicles getting towed, Vogel said that the road before the fence is public and that parking is legal.
