Last Minute Grand Canyon Backpack
I've got a couple of extra spots on my group permit for a Grand Canyon corridor trails trip. I'm billing it with ABC as a "Beginner's Trip" because of the easy pace - however, I'm open to anyone who wants to come along at this time. Driving up Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and BA Campground, Sunday night at IG (you can skip this if you really want to).

I am in AZ and was looking for a hiking partner to do S. Kaibab to river and up Bright Angel again on Friday, Nov. 26. It sounds like you all are staying overnight at the bottom on Friday, but it would be great if I could hike down with you on Friday. I was planning on driving down to the canyon on Thursday afternoon. I have a hotel room for Thursday, but not Friday. What time would you be starting your decent down s. kaibab on Friday? Thanks! Dacey

Drat, I forgot they were going this weekend, I could have looked for them! I ran down the Kaibab today, across to the campground area to fill my bottles and then hustled back up Bright Angel. Chilly day, but nice in the sun!!
