It finally dawned on me about 1 minute before your correct answer that it had something to do with antonym to INDIAN and not synonym, but too late for me

I was including the vowels and letters in the hints. Joe's an opposite guy at times(Thick mints). All the hints were mutiple choice questions and one even had the word true. He was mocking us
