I did this one last year from Carney springs. I want to do this from Lost Dutchman this time. This may be broken into two groups..Those shuttling and those who want to do an out and back ridgeline(sunrise about 7:20 am sunset 5:20 pm). Click the link above for info on this hike.

I'll pm everyone that's committed by next Wednesday with a meetup and shuttle plan. I'd hope to have the shuttle set up and start hiking by 730-8am.

The deep thigh bruise appears to be almost gone. I can take 4 more people in my trashmobile. Will know by end of weekend if it's a go for me.

Did you get that tailgating? I looked for you Sat...there were UofA fans all around us...and their band was near us also.

I didn't even go to the game. First time I've missed it in about a decade. Pretty pleased with the results, however.

Got permission to head to the Grand Canyon for the weekend so won't make the Ridgeline this time.

I am up for hitting trail as early as possible, just thought I would put that out there.

Early is good for me too. ;)

I vote we meet @ the trailhead @ 3 a.m.!

I won't be able to make this one. Will be doing an easy backpack instead. Probably for the better if we are meeting at 3 am.

Honestly, I vote that we do NOT meet @ the trailhead @ 3 a.m.

The plan was and still is to start hiking around 730am thats right about when the sun comes up.

I am just holding out to see if I will even be able to make it off this mountain to get to yours. I may not commet until late Thursday. I like the sunrise start time as it will be late when I get into Phx on Friday.

Not concerned with start time just the forecast.
