Parker Creek Hike Sunday May 30

It looks like the Pine Canyon hike isn't going to happen on that date due to "Crash" Stiller's injury, so it's time to hit Parker Creek in the Sierra Anchas. Plan on doing grasshopper's default route then up to Aztec Peak and looping back via trail #139 and #140 then back down Parker Creek. I would also love a short side-trip to Workman Creek Falls, but I'll leave that up to others. Plan on leaving the Valley @ 6:00 AM. Pack a lunch.

Joe is more of a Lady Gaga fan. He rocks her music all day every day

I forgot I was supposed to be interested. I'll try to commit one way or another in the next couple days. Who's driving?

I can take 3 other people. I'll be coming from 32nd St/Shea Blvd. We will be listening to either Lady Gaga or Slayer the entire way there and back.

If you really want nightmares we can listen to Slayer's "Reign in Blood" all the way there and back. It's only 29 minutes long so we can listen to it many many times.

It's like rain on your wedding day. Is that what you're trying to say Joe?

Jim - Does the choice of music depend on which personality is dominant at departure time!?

If Pine Canyon was still gonna happen this weekend we could play "Hey Man Nice Shot" all the way up and back.

@PLC92084:
I don't own any Lady Gaga so I guess it's Slayer all the way. Unless, of course, Joe wants to bring along his Lady Gaga collection.

Alanis must be a country western singer because thats all Joe ever listens to....being from Oklabraska an all.

I hear "Dueling Banjoes" in the background. What's up with that?

Uhhhh... I'm beginning to ask myself the same question! Though, I am less worried by the Deliverance music and more worried about the Lady Gaga + Slayer..

YOU have NO reason to fear the sound of Banjos.... I'm with you on the Lady GooGoo Crud.... Now Slayer I can deal with.

Sportsfans, it's going to be interesting. Let's hope we don't run into any sasquatches.
As for the carpooling thing, again, I can take 3 other people. I know that Joe lives in the west Valley, and it looks like coanbru does as well. We're going to have to go down US 60 so perhaps we can meet somewhere near it. Looks like Tim groth lives in Mesa, and I don't know where Dave or juliachaos will be coming from. Looks like we'll need 2 cars unless someone has a Suburban or a van unless y'all want to get extremely cozy in the back of the Slayermobile.

I can fit five in the Outback and don't mind driving. I also have a Roadmaster Woodymobile that could seat a circus but the tranny's going and it's doubtful we'd ever get there, let alone hit speeds above 40mph. But it would fit everyone. :D My place is downtown, right off the 10.

I'll bring my iPOD so Ms Gaga, the BeeGees and I can ride in peace :)

Currently the chaos option would work since Tim GmoneyRoth is driving himself, Ms Daisy and whomever else he plans to serenade :yuck:
