HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Things are cooling down up here in Prescott Valley. Ran my four miles mid-afternoon under cloud cover, in the drizzle and the temp sign on Robert and Lakeshore Roads reading 37 degrees. In the distance the Mingus and the Bradshaw is shrouded with low hanging gray clouds. Winter is working its way down in our neck of the woods, with the smell of wood smoke in the air giving me a comfortable, cozy feeling with Thanksgiving just around the corner. And with that, I would like to say I hope everyone here has a happy, fun, safe Thanksgiving.

As usual, I'm cooking for somewhere between 15 and 25 people. You never know who is actually going to be here, but they'll all get fed one way or another.
Most of the real work is done, so it's time to go for a walk.

I didn't see a single scrap of bacon at any of the 3 festivities I attended yesterday... I am content!
Oh, I better make this green type...

Happy Thanksgiving! I put the turkey in the oven and then went to the local pool to swim laps. It was open!

Gobble, gobble that turkey down ya all and enjoy the cranberries and pumpkin pie as well.
Then top it off with a hike as it is beautiful outside today...
