If you had to choose only one trail to hike on for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I pick GRCA's Kaibab - South and North - and that's not cheating, because I am the one who asked the question! :D

I enjoy Arizonabackpackr's rants as we all need a good laugh now and then. I especially like the part where she decides what to do with the children and I quote:

"and then we could take our kids and dump them off the end of the Oceanside pier"

Now that was classic. :sl:

Between Manti La-Sal National Forest and Dark Canyon I've already got 16 trails mapped out. However with only 4 full days available for hiking I'm sure it will be like our trip to Colorado last year... every hike was decided the night before based more on a whim than advanced planning. So who knows which trail we'll hike on what day.

Grand Gulch. 50-some miles of main canyon and so much to explore.

Yeah, that's a one that could remain interesting day in and day out. I couldn't say the same about the AT, which was mentioned earlier. That practically runs through my back yard, so I've dayhiked on it regularly for 25 years, and I've hiked parts of it in almost every state it crosses, but I'd rather hike in AZ any day.
