Sure, but no hook-ups.
*sorry, house rules
Hook-ups? I thought this is (or was) a family-friendly site......

Also I don’t get it, the FS guy says every time they drive by the closed Lava Tubes there are 50 cars there. So stand outside the cave wearing a mask and cite everyone who exits cave. There problem solved.
They probably don't have the time, they are too busy picking up trash and putting out fires. Otherwise, they'd be having someone stake out the dumpsters and citing people for throwing their trash there when the dumpsters are full too. They have serious Manpower problems and they've become housekeepers basically, just picking up and cleaning up after people. I think at this point Law Enforcement, when it comes to the Forest Service, is a rare thing. It's sad and it's not their fault really. The Government doesn't consider the Outdoors worthy of any kind of reasonable budget.

@friendofThundergod I drove by the lava tube twice yesterday. Road is closed. Zero cars parked anywhere in the area, saw no people, unless they were all very well hidden and far off the road. Maybe weekends are a different story. Maybe the FS guys can’t count and think two or three cars is around fifty. Or maybe they are embellishing their story. They should reopen it anyway and worry about things that actually matter.

@LindaAnn I agree fully. I want to know how keeping the lava cave closed is fighting this pandemic when I can go get a haircut, workout at my gym and grab a meal and shop just about anywhere in the state right now. 50 cars? I’m glad the FS is good at taking pics of illegal activity and good at telling news reporters about all the illegal activities they see, just apparently zero desire in doing anything about it. I mean there are still closed campgrounds in the middle of the Blue Range right now. Why? I am starting to feel the FS is maybe just setting us up for a blanket closure of our forest soon...

@outdoor_lover Some valid points, but not buying it entirely. If you don’t want people going to closed sites write citations, with the way information travels, something tells me if they wrote 25 federal trespassing citations this weekend at the Lava Tube, there might be less people there next weekend...

This should move to a moderated discussion, where things that aren't remotely controversial can go to die.

It might not take that long. The first day that state parks reopening in NJ, they were overwhelmed with bags of human waste.

Found this good boy on north Cave Creek Road coming into town. He's kinda snippy so I’m thinking he may have been abused or something. It was quite the struggle to get him into my car. There’s no collar on him. Please share so that we can find his owners. I’m sure they’re worried about him.

No...but he was standing next to several boxes marked ACME. I don't know what that's all about.

Probably just a coincidence.
On a side note, I got a cool bicycle-hang glider, with anvil-bomb kit from ACME once. I must have received a defective one though, as that whole situation didn't turn out at all well.

It's his first time with air conditioning and he's sitting next to a human cottontail.

Looks like he might be related to one I rescued. He didn’t really like getting a bath, but what dog does?

Gotta love that distant look in their eyes. The one in your photo is likely thinking about how he's going to exact his vengeance or make his getaway. :)
