Looking for my 100th HAZ hiking partner

Post by BobP »

About 67,219,200 seconds ago....I joined HAZ. As I type, the seconds will turn to minutes and...NEways during that time, I've hiked with 39 registered HAZ members. PM if you want to hike this Friday and be number 40 or if you've already hiked with me and "still" want to do a hike. I hear the wildflowers are nice in the McDowells now. :whistle:

Hi my name is Bob and I have a hiking problem and an icon problem. If you share the same problems, let me know and we can get together and talk about it. After the recent Red/White adventure, I added 3 new hiking partners to my HAZ total. Only 9 more and I will hit 100. I know I'm a nerdy numbers guy. Anyways if you want to become a statistic...in a good way. Send me a pm or respond here. I like to discuss problems in depth so sometimes it could take a long time. Or if you like Pie, I'm usually there at 430pm - 630pm Mon-Thurs. :y: 8) :lol: : rein : : king : : queen : :GB: : app : :A1: :DANCE: :kf: :budrose: :wlift:

ohhh... and on the previous page you can see a short video of me getting pummeled my a 10 year old girl.

Bob - you will probably be past 100 by April but if our universes align I would be honored :worthy: to descend into the big ditch with you!

I will be arriving in PHX on the eve of the 16th - our plan at this time is to do Wilson Mtn as a tune up on the 17th and then onto the Big Ditch the 18th and 19th......plan of record now is to attempt Cheops...... :GB:

I am always way behind on this stuff, signed up over a year ago, took me 8 months to be brave enough to post a hike...didn't know what self-momentum was until November, then thought it was a little silly, but kind of like it now :)
And now the hiking partners thing? I think wally and dave1 are the only ones I ever added to a triplog, but I can not remember Denny's HAZ name, and what about all the the HAZers at "Hippie Fest?" can I edit them back into triplog?
Also there was the little Bigload get together at La Barge Spring with Vocano climber, outdoorlover, and Tewa....are these all considered hiking partners?

similar to self-momentum, I initially thought what a silly thing to keep track of, but now its like, hey I want credit for hiking or at least chilling with those people :?

nevertheless, I think that puts me at about a sizzling ten partners, but hey I want those stats ;)

@friendofThundergod
You can go back and add them...I only add people I actually hike with. People partnered me at hazfest when I never even met them or hiked with them but sometimes its easier to just copy from an event. I was just on the committed list and showed up but wasn't there when most people were.

Probably the easiest way would be to go to one of your partner's triplogs and at the bottom is "Post duplicate trip: [ w/Data ] [ w/Data & Partner ]". Click on Data & Partner and then change the stats to your own, copy and paste your essay from your original log and then delete your original log.

I think that is the more legitimate route to go...so I guess I will be sitting at about five hiking partners now..

I think more people on HAZ would pick beer over cookies. Although, I've had some pretty awesome cookies on some trips. Snakemarks and Outdoorlover both make great cookies.. I've heard some on here also make good brownies ;)
