Winter camping

Anyone have any suggestions for a 1-2 night winter camping trip in AZ? I live in Phoenix area and would prefer something within the state, but am not equipped for heavy snow camping. I can deal with some snow, but prefer a place with little to none.

Most campgrounds are closed this time of year but the private campground in Payson maybe open. Sedona, Prescott, Globe, Tucson, county campgrounds, Maricopa County Campgrounds, Lake Havasu area.

The KOFA NWR and with a permit, the Barry Goldwater come to mind, as does Organ Pipe.

What's wrong with the higher camping in the Superstitions. If it's cold you want it's there.
