I was actually shopping for extra snakes to help out with my pack rat problem and Google suggested these linens for some reason.

Why does it always have to be the wife? Such a cliche. My ex-husband doesn't like snakes, and he would have freaked if I brought home bedsheets like that.

Same as ever, thanks. Avoiding cities, doing lots of multiday kayak trips, some hiking and biking, but onlyone backpacking trip this year, so far. Splitting my time this winter between the Colorado River and Tucson. My life has changed very little due to Covid, except that I enjoyed being on unemployment all summer! How about yourself?

Well I moved to Florida.....talk about flat! But loads of places to Kwaiack!! So I been doing tons of yaking.....hoping to get out west and do some scrambling sometime soon. I was retired for 2 years but health care costs forced me back to work so i been a slave to the man for the last 5 months....will be awhile before I can retire again.....just don't wanna burn up all my $$$ on health care that I don't use!!! Thankfully C19 has been kept at bay.
Stay safe, stay well!!

A couple of my long-time hiking buddies live in Tampa and spend their most of their spare time kayaking. Being long-retired, spare time is pretty much all the time for them.

I am planning a road trip to Florida in Feb. Bringing my kayak, staying just a few miles east of Crystal River State Park at a friend's place. I've been doing a bunch of networking online with paddlers there. Thinking I may want to spend a winter there sometime in the future, also.
Keeping things on topic, I will be sure to watch out for those invasive Burmese Pythons while I'm there!

Cool - place to kayak! Was there last year. Def recommend.
Well you will be a tad bit north of those invasive pythons but there will be plenty of venomous eastern coral snake, the southern copperhead, the cottonmouth, the eastern diamondback rattlesnake, the timber rattlesnake, and the dusky pygmy rattlesnake. Heck even a Great White Shark was only just of the coast of Crystal River!!!
Oh and be on the lookout for the Angry old white guys located just east of you in The Villages!

Why are people so angry? Spoiled rich people. I have zero sympathy for them. They should go try to live in Honduras or Nigeria for awhile. Then maybe they could learn to be completely grateful for everything we have. So selfish and arrogant. I am one who believes strongly that most people become angry due to personal problems, regrets and personal resentments, which they then transfer onto some societal problems. So much easier to blame others, rather than trying to find inner peace.
