Ladies and gentlemen, adventurers and connoisseurs, welcome to the most epic high-altitude showdown of all time! We've gathered here today on the majestic summit of Mount Booze, where we'll engage in a high-spirited debate over the three most iconic beverages: whiskey, tequila, and beer. As we sip and savor, we'll explore the pros and cons of each and determine which one truly reigns supreme at the top of the world.
I prefer not drinking on a summit.

@Pivo
I'm all for beer, but why wouldn't vodka be on the list?

I have a preference for H2O, best tasting water source in Arizona.

So your preference for the best tasting water source in Arizona is …
water?
I need something stronger to figure out what that means.

Heathens, you haven't reached full blown decadence till you've pulled an ice cold bottle of sake out of a stream.

"Oh no, I like sake, especially when it's served at the correct temperature, 98.4F, like this is."

Isn't that the whole point of vodka?

I used to be in the wholesale Wine & Spirits business, After forty years, the only two I would drink at room temperature are Reyka and Hanger 1.

Everyone knows everclear and mio is the way to go. Gotta cut weight out of the pack somehow!

Gotta weigh in here. I have found through extensive experience, that Champagne is incredibly awesome on a peak. Especially when there are several bottles and lots of friends!

I'm pretty sure I've never consumed an adult beverage on a summit. But there were a few times when organics played a part. Ten hours atop what is now called Troon Mountain comes to mind.

I think I've only had a summit beer once or twice. Also have had summit whiskey. Both have their advantages; for beer it's primarily that it's really easy to come up with an appropriate amount (i.e. a single beer), whereas it's quite easy to bring too much whisky - but the lighter weight is also the advantage of whiskey, along with the fact that whiskey is more enjoyable at normal outside temps.
