Route Out of Roger's Trough TH

Hey Folks.
I wanted to get some feedback about a loop out of Rogers Trough TH.
From reading road reports on here, it seems the road to the TH is doable with 4WD.
Once I get there, I was thinking of heading east on West Pinto to Oak Flat area and posting up for the night. If memory serves me correct, there's always water somewhere in West Pinto. So, I'm guessing/hoping there will be some near Oak Flat. Do you agree?
I noticed on my Green Trails Map that there's a cut through to the Pinto Peak Trail somewhere around Crockett Spring on the West Pinto Trail. Has anyone walked that? Is it choked up with catclaw?
The last time I was in there, Pinto Peak Trail, heading north out of Oak Flat, also had some serious catclaw. I can't imagine it has grown back into the ground. Any info about the Pinto Peak Trail would be great.
I also took the Fire Line a few years ago, shortly after a burn, and it was passable. But again, is it a total wasp-nest of a catclaw factory now?
I was going to spend night two at Reavis Ranch. The last time I was there, there was water somewhere in there.
If you think this route sucks, please tell me. I can definitely handle some catclaw. But I'm trying to avoid back to back miles of it. And if you have any other 20-~30 mile three day routes that you can recommend, I would appreciate it. I have hiked most of the trails, and a bit off-trail, just about everywhere in the Supes. Trying to avoid the west side, even though I know it is "more beautiful. Haven't done Frog Tanks, but I read that is a disaster zone right now. Again, any thoughts, are welcome.
As always, thank you.
