Bear Wallow area near Alpine, main fork of the Gila in western NM, and, if the water is clear, the Colorado through Grand Canyon yields small trout.

Chevelon Canyon up on the Rim, although not sure about this time of year. Be pretty cold up there.

I've seen folks haul out some pretty good size trout from the Lake and from the creek itself.

If you don't have to drill a hole in the water, it's not cold

LOL Big load!!

I remember those freezin' mornings back in IL when my grandpa would whisk me out of bed at 4 am, grab his winter rig and out onto the ice we would go. After a few hours we would pack it up and head home, usually empty handed. And he would wink and say, "Boy, there's a fine line between fishing and sittin' on a bucket lookin' like an idiot".

He knew there was always big pumpkinseed fillets left over from autumn, waiting for the fry daddy.
=P~
