Ariviapa Canyon

I got a 3 day permit to go back into Ariviapa at the end of October. Doing this as a solo trip. Anything I need to know, other than the fact my feet will be wet?

Anything you need to know? Well, firstly, the spelling is Aravaipa.
Secondly, look carefully at weather forecast to see if there will be any rain in the area before you leave. You don't want to be setting up camp in a flashflood area.

A beautiful place! Take your time and let it all sink in. I agree with azbackpacer check the weather!

you will be going in perfect tempertures i assume and yeh always check the forecast.

This is an old thread, but base871's 10/18/2008 TR agrees:
did this as a solo trip and spent the night in the canyon, was perfect conditions. Warm during the day, and a bit chilly at night. Didnt see any animals really, but was still well worth it!
