Royal Arch - 3/19 - 3/29

We have a couple of spaces on this trip - Contact me if you'd be interested...
The RA route is a rugged trail/route down the South Bass (west of Gr Cyn Village on S Rim). It can be completed in a loop by returning up the S Bass on the 4th or 5th day.
OUR itinerary includes adding on the West Tonto Tr over to Boucher/Hermit for a total of 9 nights in the cyn.
If you prefer the short route, you will need to arrange transportation back from the TH (we can talk about this). This trip requires a transport over the Indian Res (Res permit $25 plus transport cost) plus permit fees at $5/night.
The route involves some exposure (most of which may be bypassed) and a 20' drop that we will need to descend with the use of rope.

Fri, March 20th Hike in to BR9 Garnet Use Area to vicinity of Royal Arch
Sat, March 21st BR9 Garnet Use Area - Visit Elves Chasm and over to Gems on West Tonto Tr
Sun, March 22nd ? miles further over on West Tonto Tr
Mon, March 23rd ? miles on West Tonto Tr for camp at BQ9 S Bass Use Area
Tues, March 24th BP9 Ruby Use Area
Wed, March 25th BO9 Slate Use Area
Thurs, March 26th BN9 Boucher User Area
Fri, March 27th - 29th Extending permit for Boucher/Hermit
Sun, March 29th Hike out and drive home
