Can anyone provide any recent information on the weather conditions and trail conditions on the south rim of the Grand Canyon?
I'm mostly worried about snow and ice.
Thanks!

A friend of mine who is up there just said that it was in the teens this morning, but she said nothing about snow and ice...

Last year I was making small talk with the gal on the concierge desk in the El Tovar lobby and she said I could always call the desk for up to date weather

Windy yesterday - 40mph+ when I was there, but sunny and 60f. No snow or ice on BA, Hermit or SK.
Which trail may make a difference.

De nada, Steve.
If you have the time, and you've not already done so, you might give The Battleship a try - From the BA T/H to go out to the bow and then up on the tower and back up the BA T/H, give yourself about 5 hours - 6 if you want some time to
reflect on top. If you have someone at the Rim, they could, at a predetermined time take your photo while standing on top.
