Anyone interested in rolling out to the Pinals this Friday? Sixshooter-Icehouse loop (either way)?

Would love to go back out there, but this is one of the rare Fridays I have to work. Just did Icehouse/Kellner, and wanna get back out there and do Sixshooter/Telephone with a jaunt up to Pinal Peak. If it doesn't work out, I can do another Friday (or maybe Saturday) soon

Don't worry Dave, because the Pinals are also on the short list for the fall.

Several small fires in the Pinals, check with the forest service before you go.

Does anyone have a status update on this? I haven't found anything on it. Thinking about heading out that way tomorrow (Friday), if anybody's interested...as long as it isn't closed

I just called the Globe district for you. She said no closures on Pinal Mountain. I asked if Six Shooter & Icehouse top and bottom access is all open. She said yes it's all open.

When I did this hike with Jim last year, it poured. :D But then it stopped :) and it was really, really, windy. Almost as windy as Humphreys last Friday.

Just depends on the day I guess...a couple of Fridays ago it was hot (upper 90s), no wind or a cloud in sight

It's going to be quite muggy. The rougher the better I say. (I'm trying to psyche myself up...)
