Is it safe to leave a vehicle overnight at the 1st water TH ? Any experience?

I have, many times over 15 years, sometimes for multiple nights with no issues. I have heard that some have had problems, though, from time-to-time. It's always a crap-shoot .... that's why we carry insurance!

The rangers told me last year they average about 30 break-ins a month at that trailhead in the spring. Not sure if I believe it or not. Ive never had a problem there or at peralta and have left my car at both numerous nights.
