Mogollon Rim that is. Since most of the campgrounds were full in the Central and Southern part of the state I stayed in Payson the past couple of days and played in the snow. Impressive snow between Forest Lakes area. Snowed in Payson this morning and attempted to return to the Forest Lakes area but the fog made driving scary (not sure who was driving on the wrong side of the road) so returned.

I'd love to do some XC skiing near Forest Lakes.

Skied Pole Knoll this morning. Best conditions ever! I had listed it as a meetup (meant to put it on here, too, but a lot of people on here are also on ABC). Anyway, I also listed with a local group. No people from Valley showed up but had several show up from nearby. We had a great time. Skied up the Summit Trail and back down again.

I hear Sunrise so crowded last weekend that people were parking alongside the road. Pole Knoll was crowded, too--there were 4 cars in the parking lot! ;)
