Just born this weekend, my 2 new hiking partners. (load carriers)

Male, Nubian goats, purchased from black mesa ranch, the one highlighted in last months az highways.. if not interested in goats, check them out for their artisan goat cheeses and chocolates!!

Any thoughts on names? I still havent met them, so that always plays into it..

Awwwww cute :)

The one with the white ears looks like he has a bunch of lighter white patches of fur, kinda like freckles. Freckles could be a good name. The other one has kind of a coppery coat, so maybe you could call him Penny? I don't know, or maybe you could name them after some nerdy movie reference or something.

I majored in Biochem in college and so I might name them after two of the elements on the periodic table. Like if you were to name them after the elements Molybdenum and Francium, you could call them Molly and Francie. Or you could go basic and name them Oxygen and Nitrogen, but call them Oxy and Nitro.

Or choose two constellations or something related to hiking....

Umm I didn't pay attention to the fact that they are MALE goats, so some of the ideas I gave were kinda feminine sounding. Ignore those haha

Chevon and Cabrito. I hear it is becoming quite fashionable in some restaurants.

Cabra is a no-brainer. Chupa for the other one?

Pun intended.

I would pay good money to have Beavis and Butthead carry my pack on a long trip. Those are my name choices, btw. :)

I like Cabra and Chupa myself. Could make for some fun conversations on the trail.

Being a plant person, I might choose to name them after some of my favorite grasses: Muhlenbergia and Andropogon (Muhly and Andy for short).

(Just 'cause I think most of you will miss my hidden pun, all grasses are forbs as opposed to trees or herbs...) :GB: Gawd, I'm a nerd
