Hey there folks
In the last two weeks I have been re-coning for a group that I am taking backpacking from Yavapai College,the problem is due Water being high at all crossings and destinations,Did Towel creek ruins yesterday ,short of taking a boat Verde is not safe to cross,looked at burro/kaiser ,not good for a mixed skills newbies to intermediate hikers.
Will scout Towel from fossil creek rd on Sunday !
The college is trying to keep costs low so as instructor I am staying witin 45-50 mile of Prescott,goal is hike in 3-4 mile camping near water {much of Prescott still snowy}
input and suggestions very welcome .
