Maricopa Trail-CCRA to New River Rd TH Sunday May 23

I saw the map online for the newly built sections of the Maricopa Trail up and around Spur Cross and CCRA. There is a section that goes all the way to I-17, with a TH at New River Road, about halfway between the end of the CCRA and I-17. I'm planning to start on the Go John Trail and go out to New River Road and back. Looks like its about 13 miles RT. Leaving early at 5:30am to beat the heat.

Dates a bummer for me as I'll be camping with the ABC group in Tucson that weekend. Will read your recap with interest. This Saturday I'm going to do the section from Go John to Spur Cross with a shuttle so only doing one way. Looks like 10-11 miles for this one-way trip.
