Heading to the White Mtns for a couple of days I drove by the "parking area" for Christopher Creek Box. About 20 vehicles on the way up and about 30+ on the way back. Did not note any parking violation tags. I park and get a visit, must be the crossed monkey wrench placard on my jeep.

Sounds like the place hasn't changed much. Technically you're not suppose to park, yet the lure of such a dramatic area presses on. Unless they make it a State Park (so they can shut it down...lol) the parking issue will probably fight on.
