I Voted Today!

So I'm working from home which means I won't be able to "show off" my stupid sticker to all my co-workers. Can the HAZ Forum fill the void? :)

Remember all those threads on state parks closing, mining, land swaps, photo radar, SB1070, guns on the trail, who pays for rescues, etc. etc.? Today is the day where you actually have a say in how those things get decided. (Unless our representatives also peruse the forum?)

If you don't know what you're voting for, please don't do it just for the sake of doing it. Get informed first.

And if you disagree with my views, the lines will be shorter if you go tomorrow. ;)

I was the 23rd person in my precinct to manually have their/there vote counted today. The guy in front of me voted for too/two many people.

I mailed my ballot two/too weeks ago. When I drove by the precinct at 6:45AM there/their/they're were more cars in the parking lot than I would normally see on Election Days.

Looks like this could be another 1994.... I was so shocked by the results as I don't think anyone saw that coming. This time I think the folks know what tomorrow may bring...

Me too, last week. Voting by mail is one of the good ideas--we need many more good ideas.

Voted up here - no wait. Sprinkled my votes across all party lines, depending on the person. Some I'm sure will be losers, some will be winners.

I voted early... some of the most important votes I cast were for ballot initiatives. Happy to see that 75% of voters shot down an attempt by the legislature to raid the conservation fund, and 70% of voters voted to keep first things first. The question is Why do AZ voters always shoot down these ridiculous referendums placed on the ballot by the legislature by astounding margins... and then on the same ballot vote the same guys back into office???

Surprised and pleased to see that it looks like authority to manage wildlife will stay with Game and Fish and not the legislature, crossing my fingers that a few of the close ones come out with my desired out come!! ;)

The best antidote to all of this is to ignore it and go hiking.

Yep, everyone I voted for will have to go get a real job, so whatever shred of dignity they have is still intact.
