State Land Trust Hikes

I just got my ASLD Rec Permit for a few hikes that I have in mind but they issue theses things for a year @ $20.00. Anyone have any good recommendations on hikes that require this permit? I have been eyeballing the area between Spur Cross and Cave Creek Regional, then there is Brown's Ranch above Pinnacle Peak area. Any other suggestions? Keeping in mind that we are in a sedan so 4x4 or high clearance is not an option

.

I just returned to edit my post to no 4x4 and you had already responded, thanks for the post though. I definitely will put that on my bucket list when I am roll'n 4X ;)

Black Point Ridge is intriguing if you've read the Dutchman books mentioned. Otherwise you would probably pull your hair out.
Picacho Mountains Petroglyph Sites is enjoyable low key exploring. I'm in shock PageRob hasn't scoured every inch of this area now that it's in his neighborhood.
Daisy Mountain - Anthem
Peak 2208 - Anthem
Cougar Trail
Sunset Peak - Gold Canyon
Anza Trail
most are rated pretty low yet interesting and pleasant enough in season for at least one visit

Most of my hikes center around what Hiking Club wants to do, so I haven't ventured terribly far afield in my hikes yet.

Thanks Joe, I appreciate the list. I converted the info already. Looks like a few good ones.
Oh and while we are on the topic, I noticed that the info for the Land trust permits might need updated. The Family Rec Permit is now 20.00 down from 25.00. The applications can now be downloaded from their website.

I just received my AZ State land Family permit as well $20.00. You just fill out the form and mail it in, I received it in 3 days. Daisy Mountain in Anthem looks like a nice hike, I've been looking at it for 6 years now.
