What does it mean?

I have not found a quick way to look up the meaning of abbreviations used within HAZ. For example what does TMP, GET, RRSP, BCT, NWR, RP, NM, etc., etc., mean or stand for? This may be difficult for a new user or someone not familiar with Arizona in general. Is there a convenient way to search them out or do we need a feature or solution on HAZ to assist HAZ users.

If this post is created in the wrong forum please feel free to move it elsewhere.

WA is used frequently on site as well. And it's not Washington.

It is instead Wilderness Area.

Thanks for bringing this up! I've struggled with the VAST amount of acronyms here.

Joe, would it be possible to create an "Acronym Page"?

Had a Glossary/Terms section for over ten years with prime real estate linking. Turned out being one of the least used features on site so down it went.

The term that netted the most PM's ( private messages ) was AEG ( accumulated elevation gain ), right smack dab at the top of the list. Perhaps it's like any other culture. If you dabble in it enough the answers reveal themselves along the way.

Maybe I'll throw up a topic with them in it.
