Mrs. big_load went hiking in AZ today while I'm stuck at home working.
I'm not exactly sure where she went yet, but I'll find out when she gets back. It was somewhere near Kingman, visiting a cousin of mine who moved there last year.

She said there are pictures, supposedly of hoodoo-like geological features. Does that sound like anything near Kingman? I don't recall anything like that around there, but it's been a while.

@mazatzal Thanks! That looks interesting. I asked her what kind of rock it was, which I should have known was futile. She was calling to ask me, not tell me.

I'm surprised you remembered that. I regularly point her to interesting pictures here, but she usually doesn't say much. By the way, I hope your feet are rapidly improving.

She told me she was going to stop in. Was she with her sister? How about her brother-in-law?

I just got back from the airport. On the way home, Mrs. big_load confessed to pestering Alston with her sister. She also revealed the site of her hike: Monolith Garden (
