Just in Case someone is thinking about doing Peek-A-Boo Canyon in Utah soon...Might want to wait just a tad longer, lol Apparently, there's a Dead, Partially Dismembered, Barbecued Cow lodged in there.... :o

This thread needs a new name, death by slot canyon. :scared:
Lets hope the rancher and local Forest Service folks clean this mess up without the Federal Government, environmentalists and lawyers getting involved. :M2C:

@SuperstitionGuy Why all the fuss, this is a remote desert environment with cattle free to roam.....sooner or later one of em's going to fall into one of these tiny slot canyons and pay the ultimate price :-({|= Eventually nature will do it's thing and clean up the mess it made :whistle:

Glad it wasn't some nut case riding an ATV down there, then they would be forced to remove man and machine :yuck:

Haha, I saw that article too. You never know what you'll find in a slot canyon...BBQ Cow, kittens, deer, skunks, elk, 3 dead bloated bears... and dogs:

That one didn't fall in, it walked in and then got stuck....If it's anything like the Horse in the Wash by Camp Creek, it could take a year or more for Mother Nature to do her thing.... :sweat:

@kingsnake
Without opposable thumbs, it's taking more that 127 hours.

The Cow in Peekaboo is gone...I made sure to ask the Ranger about it and she stated that the Rest of it had been removed. If you didn't know what happened, you probably wouldn't have known where it had been located. But since I knew, it wasn't hard to figure out...The Charred Walls and Smell in the immediate Area gave it away..... :sweat:

Was it a beefy, hamburgery smell, or rancid?

The Wendy's Son of a Baconator smelled much better...but it wasn't overwhelming by any means. You could only smell it for about 5 feet. Most People probably wouldn't even know anything happened there.
